ENROLMENT REQUIREMENTS
Although our selection criteria are not actually restrictive, we require from our future students to have a Bachelor degree or at least to have studied 2 years after A level. “We also select students with literary or artistic backgrounds. Half our alumni did have a previous professional experience in event management, which they wanted to get validated through our course” Jean-Pierre Cédrin, our Course Director said. Above all, we are looking for young talents with self organization skills. Before any face to face interview, we analyze their academic development (good appreciation is an asset) and their resume’s (activities and associative involvements).
CONTENTS OF THE COURSE:
Lectures take place from September to January. Then our students carry out an internship from January to June (a five-month internship which can be extended on demand). “In fact, we ask from our students to organize a whole event and it does not always take place in June”, said Jean-Pierre Cédrin, our Course Director. “Our objective is to help our students finalize their professional project and to make sure they end up with a long-term placement at the end of the course (which takes place for 80% of our students)”. Our course focuses on field experiences and meetings with event management professionals. Our lectures cover all the aspects of event management and organization: Strategy, Logic, Budget, Communication, Negotiation and Project Management
